Hillsong: A megachurch exposed is an explosive three-part documentary series exploring the rise of Hillsong Church and the subsequent scandals that shook its foundations. The series focuses on allegations of exploitation and cover-ups, especially involving key figures like founder Brian Houston and pastor Carl Lentz. Through interviews and archival footage, the documentary provides a critical look at the church's influence and internal struggles.
Filmed in Australia and the US the series delves into Hillsong’s alleged exploitation, abuse and coverups. The series will also examine how the star-studded Hillsong was able to grow into a global brand that attracted high-profile celebrity attendees, unearth the truth behind headlines of recent scandals and shine a light on the fine line between culture, corporation and cult.
